"Destre Meyer has trained several of my young dressage horses and has re-started several of my broodmares. Destre has exceptional dressage training skills and also the patience to work with a young/green horse in a supportive way. She develops a trusting rapport with the young horse which allows her to appropriately encourage the young horse while also teaching the young horse appropriate manners and limits. The result is a confident young horse, well-schooled in the fundamentals, who is in top condition both physically and mentally and ready for more advanced dressage work. Destre goes above and beyond the norm related to her dedication and communication. She ensures that every horse in her care gets her full attention related to their training, nutrition, grooming and well-being. And, she communicates with horse owners in a very effective way so that they understand the training regimen and also the progress being made. Destre is one of the best young horse trainers I have met. I consider myself fortunate to have her training my young dressage horses."
